![]() The refresh rate as I scroll is bad enough to make it difficult to work with. Both work ok for quick access, but both have poor screen refresh rates when scrolling through files. I have been trying with both Windows Remote Desktop and Ultra VNC server. When I am remote, I need to vpn in, and would like to establish a remote session to hte Windows virtual machine. ![]() The VM has 1GB of memory allocated, and the linux host has 4GB of memory total. This appears fine when I am infront of the host. When I am at my linux system, and working in the vmplayer window, I regularly use java and cygwin/X applications, and scroll through large files and displays of data. I am using bridged networking, and both the host and vm have static IPs. Hello, I am running vmware player 2.02 on linux host (RedHat 4.0 ES, 64 bit) and a Windows XP virtual machine with VMWare Tools installed.
